Wordsbird is a website where you can sign up for courses where you get to learn about writing.
Specifically, we focus on creative writing, academic writing, professional writing, and journalistic writing.
Our team consists of published authors, professors and researchers, communications experts, and published journalists and reporters.
After selecting the course you want to attend and placing your order, we will contact you by email with instructions.
If you’ve ordered a one-on-one session, the teacher will coordinate with you to find a suitable time.
If you’re attending a group session, you will receive a schedule.
Of course, thanks to a team that’s geographically diverse, we are available both day time and evenings.
At minimum, you need a device that can connect to the internet and an internet connection.
However, we recommend a laptop or desktop computer. Tablets can also work well. A smartphone works but the limited screen size can affect your experience.
For writing, you can use any word processor you want. :)
All courses are held remotely and online using Zoom, Google Meet, or some other video conference system. Instructions for your course will be provided to you by email.
We currently take major debit and credit cards but we are working on adding many more payment methods soon!
