These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a legally-binding agreement between you (“Learner”, “Customer”, “you”) and Qlanq OÜ, registry code 17226837, address Harju maakond, Tallinn, Kesklinna linnaosa, J. Vilmsi tn 47, 10115, Estonia (“Qlanq”, “we”, “our” or “us”). By accessing wordsbird.com (the “Site”) or purchasing any course, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by (i) these Terms, (ii) our Privacy Policy and (iii) our Refund Policy (collectively the “Agreement”). If you do not accept the Agreement, do not use the Service.
“Service” – the online platform through which Wordsbird provides paid and free digital educational content, including on-demand video courses, live webinars, downloadable materials, quizzes and certificates of completion.
“Course” – a specific bundle of educational content and related resources offered for a stated price.
“Order” – your purchase of a Course via the checkout on the Site.
“Digital Content” – any files, recordings or documents delivered electronically as part of a Course.
2.1 Wordsbird offers educational content intended for informational and self-development purposes only. We do not provide legal, financial, medical or other professional advice, nor do our Courses constitute accredited academic programmes unless explicitly stated.
2.2 Completion certificates issued by Wordsbird reflect only that you viewed or passed internal assessments and have no formal academic or governmental recognition unless expressly indicated.
2.3 The Service is available to both consumers and business customers. Where you act as a consumer, nothing in these Terms limits the mandatory rights granted under Directive 2011/83/EU, the Estonian Consumer Protection Act or any applicable law.
2.4 We may refuse or remove any content that (a) is unlawful, harmful or defamatory, (b) infringes third-party intellectual-property rights, or (c) violates these Terms.
3.1 Prices and course descriptions shown on the Site are an invitation to treat. Your Order becomes binding once we email a confirmation.
3.2 All prices are listed in euros (€) and are inclusive of all applicable taxes (see Section 9).
3.3 Payment is due in full at checkout via the supported gateways. We do not store complete card details; see Privacy Policy for data handling.
3.4 Because Digital Content is delivered immediately after purchase, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for EU consumers does not apply once the download or streaming begins, in accordance with Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU.
4.1 Courses are delivered online through your Wordsbird account dashboard. Access links are provided immediately after successful payment.
4.2 We aim for 24/7 platform availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where practicable.
4.3 You are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and compatible device.
5.1 Upon full payment, Qlanq grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to view and use the Course materials for your personal learning or internal business training.
5.2 You may not share, resell, record, copy or publicly display Course content without our prior written consent.
5.3 Qlanq and its content-providers retain all intellectual-property rights in the Service, including videos, slides, code snippets, trademarks and the Wordsbird name.
You agree to:
(a) Provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure;
(b) Use the Service only as permitted, without reverse-engineering, scraping or disrupting the platform;
(c) Refrain from uploading malware or unlawful material;
(d) Comply with all applicable export-control, sanctions and data-protection laws.
7.1 We strive for high-quality, up-to-date content created by subject-matter experts. However, knowledge evolves and we do not warrant that information is complete, error-free or current at all times.
7.2 Minor corrections or updates may be deployed to Courses without additional charge. Substantially new editions may be offered as separate products.
8.1 Our Refund Policy sets out when refunds are possible. Generally, refunds are granted only if you have not accessed the Digital Content.
8.2 If a Course is materially defective (e.g. missing modules, broken files), notify us within 14 days; we will repair, replace or refund at our discretion.
8.3 Subscriptions (if any) can be cancelled at any time but remain active until the end of the current billing period.
9.1 Prices shown include Estonian VAT or—where required—VAT at the rate applicable to your billing location under the EU OSS scheme.
9.2 For customers outside the EU, the same gross price applies with no VAT added. The Service uses your billing address or VAT-validated tax number to determine tax treatment.
9.3 Business customers who provide a valid EU VAT ID will be charged 0% VAT under the reverse-charge mechanism, but the gross amount remains the same; the VAT component is netted internally.
We process personal data in accordance with the Wordsbird Privacy Policy, which explains GDPR rights, data categories and retention. The Site uses essential cookies plus optional analytics cookies subject to your consent.
11.1 Educational only. Courses are provided “as-is” for learning purposes and do not substitute for professional advice.
11.2 No consequential damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qlanq shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss (including loss of profit, business or data).
11.3 Cap on liability. Qlanq’s total liability for any claim under an Order is limited to the amount you paid for that Order.
11.4 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any liability that cannot be limited under Estonian law.
Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform (other than payment obligations) due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, governmental action, or internet outages.
We may amend these Terms by posting a revised version on the Site and, for material changes, giving at least 14 days’ notice by email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Any dispute not resolved amicably shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Harju County Court in Tallinn. Consumers may also refer disputes to the Estonian Consumer Disputes Committee or via the EU ODR platform.
If any clause is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Headings are for convenience only and shall not affect interpretation.
